03

Compliant, without you having to deal with it yourself.

Compliance · GDPR, Swiss FADP, cookie consent

Data compliance is part of the foundations: it touches the trust of whoever leaves you their data. We handle it, with both Swiss and European rules in mind, so you don't have to become a regulation expert just to be online properly.

It's work that shows little. When it's missing, you notice fast.

How we do it

  1. 01We map what the site collects: forms, cookies, pixels, third-party tools already in place.
  2. 02We configure the consent banner and categories with pre-blocking: nothing fires before the user has chosen.
  3. 03We connect consent to tracking, so the data collected follows that choice instead of ignoring it.
  4. 04We write and keep privacy and cookie policies up to date for EU GDPR and the Swiss FADP.

The tools we use

Consent management Iubenda, Usercentrics
Consent & tags Google Consent Mode v2 on Google Tag Manager
Regulations GDPR (EU) and FADP (Switzerland)
Verification Pre-blocking tests and periodic checks

Frequently asked questions

Is our site already GDPR/FADP compliant? How do we know?

We map everything the site currently collects (forms, cookies, pixels, third-party tools) and check whether consent is actually connected to tracking. Often the banner exists but doesn't really block anything before the user chooses: that's usually where the problem hides.

We only operate in Switzerland. Do we still need EU GDPR?

You need at least the Swiss FADP. If you also have visitors or customers in the EU, or use tools like Google Ads/Meta Ads, EU GDPR comes into play too: we factor that in from the start instead of finding out later.

What exactly do you set up?

A consent banner and categories with pre-blocking (Iubenda), Google Consent Mode v2 connected to tracking, and privacy/cookie policies written and kept up to date for both GDPR and the Swiss FADP.

Does the cookie banner slow down or hurt how the site looks?

No: we integrate it into the site's visual style, it's not a generic unstyled element. The goal is to be compliant without looking like a roadblock to visitors.
